Outreach & other

Why is Moon?

On 1st April 2017, I took part in The Sciencing Room event, a spin on the usual Science Room events that had a group of scientists answer some of the sillier questions that had been submitted to them by the public. I answered the question Why is Moon? using my (rather limited) drawing skills - here are my handrawn slides.

The Science Room

In November 2016, I gave a talk on wormholes at The Art House in Southampton for The Science Room. The Science Room run regular events where scientists answer questions submitted by the general public. After my talk, I wrote up my answers as a short blog post.

I'm a Scientist!

I took part in the I’m a Scientist! Gravity zone in March 2016. This involved answering questions sent in by school children and taking part in live chats with classes over a two week period. I had a lot of fun answering questions on topics ranging from space travel to black holes to neutron stars!
